2012 Bike MS

With only three weeks until the ride, I want to send a massive thank you to everyone who has donated to this amazing cause. Every dollar - and I really mean that, every single dollar! - makes the miles I'll be riding that much more powerful in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis.

Some info on Multiple Sclerosis:
  • There are approx. 200 new cases diagnosed each week!
  • MS is a progressive disease for which there is not yet a cure.
  • The average age of onset is 30-33 years, but can occur in the early 20's to the late 50's.
  • Because of the varied symptoms of MS, the average time between clinical onset and dianosis is 4-5 years.
  • MS is the most common progressive and disabling neurological condition in young adults.
  • Because MS does not sugnificantly affect life span, those with MS and their families often have to deal with the effects and costs of living with this disease for decades.
