Blurb:
Forced to take a leave of absence by her commander, Allied Planet Enforcer Anika Dru high-tails it straight away to Spaceport Adana. What better destination for some unwanted R and R than a veritable cesspit of scum-bucket crooks? Especially for a tech-enhanced super cop who likes nothing more than taking out the bad guys...
Five minutes on 'Port Adana and she's already spotted her first target -- until a gorgeous half naked slave catches her eye. And makes her tech zing. Determined to discover what about the man makes her so... charged... she follows him to an empty sex den, ready to play super cop one-on-one.
But Kaden Irrado isn't a slave, and his meeting with Anika isn't by chance. Kaden is Phase, a multi-dimensional warrior capable of drawing all of his possible selves into the one temporal plane. He has to stop Anika from doing something that will destroy the space-time continuum and he's planning to do it in the most pleasurable way possible. Even if it takes more than one of him.
Rest and relaxation has never been so good. Or exhausting.

I hate R & R. Who needs it? I sure as shit don't. Not just because I've had a tech upgrade, thanks to the Allied Planets' super secret Super-Cop initiative, but because seriously, what does one do on R & R anyway? Rest and relaxation? The most relaxing thing for me to do is bust the asses, noses, clavicles, sternums, necks, spines -- well, you get the idea -- of scum-bucket criminals. And I never rest from relaxing. I don't want R & R. I don't need it. I'm a freaking Super-Cop, for Otyn's sake.
Even before my tech implants I didn't need it. R & R is for the weak, the pathetic. The lazy. But what's a tech-improved AP Enforcer to do when her commander orders her -- orders her -- to take a leave of absence? "You're close to burn out," he says. "You need some down time," he says.
I'll tell you what she does. She heads to Spaceport Adana. 'Cause honestly, you won't find a greater horde of scum-bucket criminals in one place anywhere else in IAC space -- or any other space, for that matter. If it's dodgy, chances are it's at 'Port Adana. What better destination for unwanted R & R than a veritable cesspit of crooks?
A mere two steps into said cesspit and my mouth began to water and my tech began to zing. By Otyn. The place was a smorgasbord.
Striding through the crowded docking level, I catalogued everything I saw. Known slave traders, infamous spice dealers, wanted WMD suppliers, hell, even an IAC-listed terrorist moved freely about their nefarious business, unaware a tech-enhanced AP Enforcer walked amongst them.
My mouth watered some more. I was going to have a blast. Why hadn't I taken R & R be --
I snapped straight, scanning the horde around me.
One of the upgrades the AP white-coats had so thoughtfully installed in me allowed my tech to detect battle class droids and cyborgs of any design, make and model. That upgrade -- millions of microscopic tiox nanobots implanted in my cerebral cortex -- now fired into pulsing life. Somewhere on the thoroughfare was a Q-42 battle droid, a highly efficient, volatile, and superseded war-class android.
I searched the teeming masses again, tuning my tech into the Q-42's energy emission. Q-42s were decommissioned by the IAC for a reason. They were dangerous. If one walked 'Port Adana, it was illegally activated and would need to be shut down.
My right hand automatically reached for my blaster before I remembered the spaceport's strict boarding rules -- no energy weapons in public places. I wriggled my fingers and forced calm into my muscles. No matter. It would be more fun taking out the droid barehanded.
Grinning, I scanned the crowd once again, zeroing my gaze in on a giant of a man dressed in combat fatigues not eight feet away.
Bingo.
The Q-42 shoved his, err, that should be its, way through the packed thoroughfare and I followed. Eagerly.
As if I wouldn't.
Five minutes on 'Port Adana and already I was enjoying my R & R. The Q-42 strode through the docking level, pushing people out of its way, its pace quickening. I narrowed my eyes, my stare locked on its towering frame. It seemed to be trying to elude something.
You?
The thought had merit. Q-42s were still advanced tech. It was entirely possible a Q-42 operating in human stealth mode -- as this one was -- could detect the tiox-emissions of my own tech. Possible and, if the case, kinda fun. It would make bringing the battle droid down more challenging. I lengthened my stride, dodging more than one scum-bucket, never taking my eyes off the droid.
Until the most gorgeous man I've ever seen crossed my line of sight, dressed in nothing but skintight black leather pants and a slave collar, his pitch black hair tumbling around his shoulders in a tousled mess, his bronzed skin gleaming under the thoroughfare's harsh lights, his muscles rippling with latent strength.
Oh, dear gods, he's delicious.

Blurb:

Titan Station's running low on water. Situations like this call for a little creativity -- something cats are usually good at. Unfortunately sometimes wrangling comets means crossing a few interplanetary lines. This time Kiefer Gatson's got himself in a hell of a mess. One little misunderstanding with the Amalgamated Scavenger's Guild and now Allied Planet Security's after him. Worse, he's got Orloft, the cyborg bounty hunter, on his tail.
Now Kiefer's stuck -- literally -- on Spaceport Adana, trying to impersonate a Kitali. Which lands him on top of Officer Ramie, who smells good enough to eat. December Ramie, he could surrender to -- or the other way 'round. Either would be fine. But he's not really a Kitali, and if he shifts now, he's going to blow his cover.
Before he can save the station and claim the woman as his mate he's got to wrangle his comet into a docking bay on Titan Station and get paid. Which brings things back 'round to Orloft, his impounded ship, and ten tons or so of undocumented water.
One cat. One comet. One woman. What could go wrong?

"It's that time of the mornin' when the sun starts comin' up, and I'm standin' on the corner with my guitar and my cup..." From his seat at the bar, Kiefer sang softly in time to the heavy beat of the music. Unfortunately, the Kitali with the mic in his hand was far too drunk to manage to get the words out right. Kitali generally sang badly enough when only mildly intoxicated. This Kat had guzzled down at least five rounds too many.
"Hey, you're pretty good. Why don't you give it a try?"
Kiefer spun to face the voice. Shiny silver-blue hair sculpted into a wave that wrapped around her head, too short skirt, barely there scrap of clingy mesh fabric that revealed more of her boobs than it covered. Waitress. Not a threat. One by one, he forced his muscles to relax. "Thanks, but I don't have any desire to be in the spotlight." Oh, like all cats, he loved to sing, especially old Earth "Country" ballads, but he didn't need that kind of attention. Not here. Not now.
"Can I get you anything?" The look said he needed to order, or move on.
He didn't bother to look at the drink list. What he really needed was food, something solid to put in his stomach, but he wouldn't eat anything they'd serve in a dive like The Haze. "I'll have a Mendozan Cooler." More credits than he ought to spend, but then, unless he could find out who'd put the bounty on him, and why, this might well be his last night of freedom. Wasn't like he'd have any use for credits on a penal colony.
"Coming right up." The waitress gave her hips a little extra twirl as she turned toward the bar, sending her short skirt floating up to reveal the tight, trim lines of her perfectly sculpted ass. Kiefer nearly whistled. That bit of work must have cost a few hundred credits. Nice job.
The Kitali roused himself from the floor in time to sing the line, "But my sun ain't come up yet this mornin'." Of course he was at the wrong place in the melody, and obviously paying no attention to the ancient teleprompter, but no one cared. Kiefer wasn't sure if the few patrons near enough to notice were clapping for his singing, or because it was finally over.
Kitali. Kiefer snorted softly. What an insult to cats everywhere.
"You know that guy?" The waitress was back, nodding her chin at the far end of the bar. "He's looking for someone. Has a bounty. Picture looks a lot like you."
Kiefer's attention snapped from the stage to the far end of the bar. Blyat! Orloft. Not just a bounty hunter -- a Battle 'Borg. So much for going through channels. Whoever was after him had decided to bypass 'Port Security protocols. Kiefer slapped a fifty credit token on the bar and prepared to meet his fate. Or the back door, whichever came first.
Only apparently Haze didn't have a readily accessible back door. Lots of shadows and alcoves, but -- Sukin Sin! He tripped over the drunken Kitali, who'd crawled off the stage -- or been tossed -- and nearly went down. Damn thing was next to invisible in the dar... Blyat! That was it!
With a thought, Kiefer vanished, and another drunken Kitali staggered toward the exit. Somewhere deep in the bowls of Spaceport Adana his father rolled over in his grave. Or perhaps flowerbed. Hard to tell with Dad...

Blurb:
Peri Barberossa is on the hunt. Conflicted over Silas Archimedes' questionable behavior in the Supernova Affair and the bedding of her doomed and virginal cousin by Fyche, her otherwise faithful AI, Peri seeks solace in the arms of strangers.

The amorous accent of a hunky fighter pilot she meets at Spaceport Adana's renowned Haze Bar & Grill sends Peri on a whirlwind adventure to the planet Scalion where, in search of her lost mother, Peri meets the surprisingly erotic Tacha Vaile and two gorgeous and randy men, Titus Dollavera and Moss Cato.

Everyone is more -- or less -- than they seem in this erotically charged Peri Barberossa adventure where secret agendas abound and the name of the game is undiluted pleasure.

I wandered the corridors of Adana in a sort of daydream. My grateful pilot had to leave straight after our morning coupling. Some sort of parade and flyby the navy was putting on to dazzle the citizenry. We did all that awkward stuff that comprises the morning after the drunken fuck ritual; exchanged numbers and promised to call each other.

So now I was at a loose end. My joy ride with him had given me a few ideas for the theme of my guide to the psychology of sex and I figured a quiet cafƩ would help get the thoughts straight in my head.

I'd barely taken a sip when Holly and an attractive and vaguely familiar blonde woman in her early twenties, fitted out with Holly's holovid camera, entered the cafƩ.

"Hi, sis," Holly said in her usual effervescent manner. "This is Zoe. I'm training her to be a breaking news reporter."

I shook Zoe's hand, gazing at her bright-eyed expression and trying to figure out where I'd seen her before.

"I've read everything you've written, Peri," she gushed.

"I'm flattered. Zoe, I wonder if you could give Holly and me a moment alone?"

She flashed me a genuine smile. "Sure." She turned to Holly. "Boss, how about I finish that council meeting story?"

"Sure, knock yourself out." After watching Zoe stride away Holly turned to me. "Isn't she great?"

"I guess. Sit down for a second. Listen, I need you to think about Nova Town for me."

Her expression told me Nova Town was not her favorite subject. Nor was it mine, but we had to talk about it sometime.

"Ever heard of Scalion?"

"Um, I think so. Is that the agricultural planet?"

"That's the one. Did either Mother or Father have a connection there?"

She frowned for a moment in concentration. "Nuh, nada. I have nothing. Why?"

"It's just that I think we went there after Nova Town. I can't remember it. I just recognized a guy's accent, and I don't know why it should have made such an impression unless I'd been there."

She tilted her head slightly and gave me one of her penetrating gazes. "The pilot at the Haze last night? From what I hear, his accent wasn't the only thing that would have made an impression."

Fuck me! "How'd you know about that?"

"Zoe saw you. She was doing a story on the singing Kitali."

"That must be where I've seen her," I said doubtfully, but didn't remember any singing Kitali.

"Also, Silas heard about it too. He's pretty cut up. Angry would be a better term. What are you doing to him?"

I was surprised. I didn't know he was back on Adana. He hadn't called me. "It's complicated."

"Well, he's a solid type of guy from what I can tell."

"Yeah, well."

She knew me well enough to change the subject. "Any luck with Jyker?"

I gritted my teeth at the name. He was a notorious criminal and knew something of my mother, and I had so desperately wanted to find out what. Fyche, Silas and I had almost captured him in a bondage and discipline parlor but in the confusion of an assassination attempt, he'd escaped, taking his knowledge with him. "Trail has gone cold. Silas is following it up for his own purposes. I'll probably not hear any more of it."

Her journalist's eyes brightened. "His own purposes?"

"Yeah, it seems Jyker has more to answer for than either Mischa or us." I gave an exaggerated shrug. "More of Silas's secret shit, so I don't know much."

"Have you found out anything more about the connection between Mother and the Naturalists on Jones's World? To think, we had a cousin there and never even knew."

"Mother never mentioned her family origins to me. I guess we'd have thousands of cousins, second cousins and Phong knows what else scattered all over the galaxy. No surprise that some of them might be religious fundamentalists."

"I suppose. Are there any Naturalists on Scalion?"

"There are, as a matter of fact. Fyche found reference to an old colony there."

"Curiouser and curiouser. Any Leesons on record?"

Leeson was our mother's maiden name. "Not that he could find."

She played with a sugar shaker for a moment. "I wonder where Mother ended up."

That question had been foremost in my mind. "The strange thing is these last few months are the first time I've ever really asked that question. You'd think that after all Mother and I had been through; escaping Nova Town, jumping from planet to planet, living out of a string bag and she constantly afraid that the New Guard would catch up with us, I'd want to know what happened to her. But despite all the hardships we faced together when I grew up, after she left me, I never asked any questions."

"Don't punish yourself. You were young."

"Sure, I resented her dumping me like she did, but there's more to it than that. It's not natural for me not to be more curious. I can't even recall seriously thinking about her until you lured me here."

Holly held up her hands. "Innocent of all charges. I had no idea Jyker would trigger this. I just glimpsed him on the playback of one of my stories. I thought you'd be interested. I had absolutely no idea of what he was about."

"I know, but it's like there's a high wall around my memories. I'm peeping over the top, and all I see is a mist. But what troubles me is that until now, I've never even tried to look over the wall. Fuck, I never knew it was there."

"Well, my sense is that if it hasn't troubled you in the past, then don't let it trouble you now. Let her go. She left you in the care of strangers. For whatever reason, good or bad, she left you like she left Dad, like she left me. You don't need to kick yourself around the room for what she did. Let her go."

I knew she was trying to give me good advice, but it hurt nonetheless. Holly was bitter at Mother for leaving our father in the turmoil of Nova Town. I understood that. On the other hand, I'd been with Mother. I needed to know what happened to her. "I don't think I can. Besides, she gave me up because she thought she was being tracked by the New Guard, and that it was safer for me not to be with her."

"Are you sure about that?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess. It sounds logical."

"It may be she doesn't want to be found." She grasped my hand. "I only know that when she took you away, Dad didn't want her to. They had a fight. When she came back for me, Dad stood between us. He wasn't about to let her take me too."

"I didn't know. I assumed it was you who told her you didn't want to leave."

"I didn't want to leave. That's true, and I told her so. But Dad was the one that sent her back to the spaceport."

My expression must have asked the obvious question.

"He told her to leave you behind with us, but she refused. She said you preferred her to him, you always did. That was true; even I knew that. I belonged to Dad and you belonged to her."

I squeezed her hand tight. "Why did he really send her away?"

"I never found out. To be honest, I never asked. It was enough that I was still with him. I missed you, but well, it was never like we got along."

I laughed. "No, I don't think we did."

Holly's gaze had wandered off toward her protƩgƩ. I saw a raised eyebrow. Holly stood up. "Well, duty calls. Gotta go. I'll think about Scalion, see what I come up with and let you know."

"Sure."

"Oh, I put that order in for you."

I took a moment to remember I'd asked her to do something on the quiet for me, something Fyche didn't know about.

"Thanks."

I must have looked a bit confused for she reached for my hand. "Hey. Sis. Look after yourself. Find Silas and sort it out with him. He's a solid guy. I'm sure of it."

"I'll think about it."

“Masturbation, so it is said, is its own reward.”

I stared dumbly at Fyche, not sure what to make of this unexpected declaration.“It has many desirable aftereffects; physical release and relaxation being foremost. It favorably affects cardiovascular and endocrine activity, promotes sleep, reduces depression and increases self-awareness of sexual response. Though in your case such knowledge is redundant.”

“And you are telling me this because…?”“You’ve been moping about the ship in a complete funk for three weeks. I’ve been remotely monitoring your physiological vital signs, and I know, for a fact, that you have not had sexual release since we left Spaceport Adana.”

“I’ve been meaning to talk to you about the bounds of privacy…”

“I am the JalapeƱo’s AI unit. I can’t help but monitor your vital signs. Your health and well-being are my raison d’ĆŖtre.”

He had me there. Being my guardian angel went with his programming. Sometimes he took his interest in me way beyond mere programming. “That doesn’t mean you have to pay attention to it.”

He gazed at me from the door to my cabin with the gorgeous eyes I’d bought him. “While I process that non sequitur,” he said smoothly, “I wish to emphasize that it is not healthy for you to go so long without sexual release. It signifies a break from your basic pattern of behavior which I have observed for many years, and it concerns me.”

I saw the direction in which this conversation was heading. It was an old argument from way before I’d bought him his humanoid body. “

Does your desire to get into my pants have anything to do with this concern?”

“My desires are always secondary to your own. You know that. The fact that in this regard the two exactly coincide is further reason to indulge them.”

“As usual your logic is impeccable, yet I am unmoved.”

“Clearly another symptom of your depression.”

“Be that as it may, for the last three weeks we’ve visited four of the planets my mother and I went to after we escaped Nova Town. We are unremembered and we don’t appear on any refugee register or bank record. How did we get in and out of these planets and not leave a trace? I’m perplexed, frustrated and depressed about our failure. Is that so unusual?”

“I did not say I didn’t understand the reason for your funk. It is how you are coping, or rather not coping, that concerns me.”

I knew what he meant. Generally whenever I was feeling low I’d jump the bones of any good-looking male in the vicinity to satisfy my insatiable physical cravings and get out of the funk, as Fyche called it. Luckily, writing for a galactic sex guide pays the bills and allows me to indulge myself in that wonderful pastime as well as maintain my sanity. The last few months, however, had thrown me off that well worn track. First Laz, my intergalactic warrior who I think I fell in love with, left me to fulfill his political destiny. That was, now that I reflect on it, not as devastating a blow as I thought it had been at the time. Distance and events have a way of raising uncomfortable questions about the strength of one’s former feelings. Was it love? I really can’t say anymore.

Then there was Silas Archimedes, the private dick on Spaceport Adana, whose bones I’d jumped to forget about Laz. I think I fell for him as well. Then he left me so he could perform whatever mysterious duty was more important to him than I was.

Maybe Fyche was right. Maybe I should just let him fuck me and, by doing so, fuck Silas the hell out of my head. I rebelled at the notion, and it occurred to me then that maybe I didn’t want the feelings I had for Silas to die the way Laz’s light had so quickly dimmed, and the one way to ensure that was not to indulge myself with another man. Could that be true? It seemed a far too convoluted motivation even for me, but the notion lingered in my mind like a favorite old song.

So, what did I really want? Holly seemed to have found a cozy little arrangement with Maxim Dollavera. By all accounts they were now inseparable. Did I want that? Exclusivity? Surely not. If that was the case and all I wanted was a sure thing, hell, forget the others, I’d jump Fyche and be done with it. At least I’d be assured of his lifelong devotion. He wouldn’t leave me for some noble duty. I was and always would be Fyche’s only duty.

Did I want to be a duty? Of course not. But neither did I want that smothering type of relationship Holly had found. But if that was the case, why was I pining over Silas and Laz? They had their careers and I had mine.I guess I could arrange to intersect with them every now and again to keep the juices flowing and still do what I’ve always done. Fyche would be a useful backup for those long lonely trips in between.

Fyche. I ran my eyes over his perfect body. It was the best money could buy. As far as sex toys go, Fyche would be the best there is; handsome, built like an athlete, intelligent, sensitive and… he was just too perfect. Maybe that’s why I hadn’t jumped his synthetic endoskeleton. I’d already told him I should have given him a blemish, a squint or a scar, maybe eczema, just so he wasn’t so damned attractive.I realized that Fyche was still gazing at me with an excruciatingly patient expression. I felt like a recalcitrant child trying to explain away a broken vase on the floor. “I’m on a mission to find my mother,” I said defensively. “I’m preoccupied with other things apart from sexual gratification.”

“As I believe I intimated. That is definitely out of character.”

“Haven’t you got things to do? Like running the ship?”

He smiled that annoying little I know I’m winning the argument smile. “As you know, I can be in two places at once. This body you see before you is an independently functioning peripheral AI device. My brother AI, for want of a better description, is still in the ship’s CPU, flying the ship, while I am here, standing before you, expressing my concern for your well-being and offering myself as the remedy to what ails you.”

“Well, thank you, Dr. Fyche, but I’m tired and I want to be alone. Go and fix dinner, or something.”

“Chicken soup, perhaps?”

“Get lost.”When the hatch closed behind him I stared at the ceiling for a minute then decided to put his assertion to the test.

When they arrive, they find Holly gone and a case of mistaken identity allows Peri to make a big impression on the enigmatic private eye, Silas Archimedes, who finds that Holly's sister is even more trouble than the ace reporter herself.

"Am I forgiven?" Fyche asked.
"You’re lucky I’m still talking to you. You’re lucky you’re still on my ship. You’re lucky you still have a body!"
I was referring to the organic body I’d finally agreed to buy for my long-serving ship’s AI. He had been begging for it for ages. He cited all the usual practical reasons why an artificial intelligence might want an organic body; guarding me while on assignment, helping me with my research, being an extension of the ship’s core memory and effectively allowing him to be in two places at once.
The list went on, but his real agenda was quite selfish. He, Fyche, an artificial intelligence, had fallen in lust with me. He openly admitted it, though was at a loss to explain it. I, and my body, had become an obsession with him. He wanted, he said, to taste my bodily delights after witnessing so many of my sexual adventures.
I wasn’t entirely sure this was a good idea, and I offered to have him psychoanalyzed, or whatever the equivalent was for artificial intelligence, but he convinced me that was not a good idea. Such analysis could destroy his distinct personality which, I must admit, I’d come to appreciate and grown accustomed to. What finally swayed me was the prospect that the month it took to grow a synthetic organic body around his positronic brain presented me with a too good to miss opportunity to linger at the capital and spend some extra bed time with Laz.
Laz. The thought of my lost lover sent me into another bout of sobbing. I’d been in this morbid state for three days. It was ridiculous.
"I know what will get your mind off him," Fyche said.
"Fyche, for the last time, you are not going to get into my pants!"
"I meant this."
I opened my scratchy eyes. Phong knows what I must have looked like. Three days crying can’t be a good thing. "What is it?"
He held a data card. "It arrived an hour ago."
"Who is it from?"
"The transmission didn’t say," he said. "It was coded private and confidential."
"And you didn’t even peek?"
"Tampering with private transmissions is an offense."
"Yeah, yeah," I said, not entirely believing him. "When have you not opened my mail?"
"I’m offended that you would think I would break my basic code of ethics."
I waved him into silence lest he start quoting me the AI code of behavior. "Don’t just stand there like the piece of furniture you are, plug it in."
The holo-screen lit up on a face I hadn’t seen for years. The eyes grabbed me first, like they always had. I always hated those eyes. They were too blue to be real, but were, in fact, her own. Her face was framed by a halo of jet curls. When I’d last seen her, Holly’s hair had been straight and long, but that was years ago when we were teenagers. Her face was animated, full of life and energy. She was beautiful.
I haven’t really thought about her in ages, really thought about her, that is. I was surprised that even now I still resented her. Call it petty but I was never one for sisterly affection.
Holly smiled that dazzling smile that would melt my father’s heart.
"Peri, I need your help," she said bluntly. "Come to Spaceport Adana. I have attached the coordinates." She fixed me with her azure gaze, the confidence slipping to be replaced by something like melancholic resignation. "I need you." The recording faded and I sat back in my chair.
"Your sister?" Fyche asked me. "I can tell by the resemblance. The same intensity in the manner, the arresting presence, yet, I sense she is naĆÆve, a child almost, and she plays on that perception. Men want to protect her, and she lets them."
Starting with my father. I glanced at Fyche. He was watching me closely, his dark eyes attentive and kind. He always knew the right thing to say. Though I called him a simple AI and treated him abysmally, he was not a simple piece of furniture. He was, in all things where it counts, a good friend, probably my only one. "Her physiological signs?"
"Impossible to pick up on a hologram. I have to be in the person’s physical presence to detect their vital signs. However, pupil dilation, non-verbal behavior and phase variations in her voice suggest she is in a state of some anxiety. Is she susceptible to pressure?"
"Not that I ever noticed," I said.
"How long has it been since you’ve seen her?"
"Many years. A lifetime, maybe two."
"She seems to be in trouble."
"What do we know of Spaceport Adana?"
I waited the half second it took for him to interrogate the ship’s library and collate the results. "According to one travel writer, ‘Adana is a seething cauldron of crime, corruption and political unrest, a cancer on the tattered edge of civilization.’."
It seemed typical of Holly to end up in such a place. She seemed to have an affinity with degradation. "Prepare a summary for me," I said. "Holly’s a reporter. No doubt you’ll find some of her stories."
"The only one," Fyche mumbled.
"What?"
"She’s the lead journalist for the only independent news service, the Adana Observer."
I laughed. "You mean she has the whole spaceport at her mercy? Phong help them."
"Shall I set a course for Adana?"
"As fast as you can."

Hello. I am AP Enforcer, Raina Mynn. I don't believe in ghost stories, I don't believe in space dragons and I sure as shyte don't believe in destiny.
So why the hell am I getting all worked up over the lunatic on the moon's surface who sent me to sexual heaven with just one brutal, arrogant kiss? A lunatic in a gorgeous body with blazing eyes who tells me he's a dragon shifter and I am his to claim? A lunatic who makes me hotter than all the hells and wetter than the widest seas? A lunatic who believes I am his destiny and will stop at nothing to make me his?
Why do I feel like everything he's saying is true? And why won't my body stop craving his touch?
Dragon shifter? You're kidding, right? Right?
Shyte, I'm in so much trouble.

Excerpt:

He crushed my mouth with his, and before I knew what I was doing, I was kissing him back.
I lifted my right leg and wrapped it around the back of his left thigh. The move spread my pussy, and with a single stroke, Torr entered me. His cock stretched me again and I welcomed the pain. Reveled in it. He fucked me against the wall, his hands never lessening their punishing grip on my wrists, his mouth never easing its punishing assault on my lips, and I welcomed that new pain as well. Someone wiser than me once said there is a fine line between pain and pleasure and they were right. Torr’s fierce ownership of my body hurt like hell, and made me hotter and wetter and more aroused than I’d ever been. I never wanted it to end. Ever.
Fyre’s tooth, neither do I. Torr’s voice slipped through my mind, smug, arrogant, dominating. Vulnerable.
He filled me with his shaft, pumping its length deeper and deeper. I rode him hard, our bodies slick with sweat, our tongues mating with fierce abandon, and refused to think about anything except the way he made me feel. Pleasured. Desired. Wanted.
Needed.
He thrust into me over and over again, and at some stage his hands left my wrists and found my ass, squeezing each cheek as he took my weight. He carried me across the room and lowered me onto a wide, soft pallet, his cock still embedded in my sex, his mouth still possessing mine.
Soft, dense fur caressed my skin as I stretched out on the surface. The tickling sensation only added to the delicious bliss consuming my senses. I tangled my hands in Torr’s hair as I locked my ankles at the base of his spine -- imprisoning him in my hold. Lifting my hips, I met him mid-thrust, moving with him to bring us both closer to release.
His hands raked my body -- insatiable in their need to explore every inch of my exposed flesh. He dragged his mouth from my lips and tasted my neck, my collarbones. I shivered, my nipples growing hard and erect. He moaned with appreciation and took one tight little tip into his mouth, suckling on it with greedy fervor. I moaned and arched my back, dragging my nails down to his ass.
“I have tasted your flesh for over a lifetime, chrye.” He groaned against my breast, stroking its curve with his fingertips. “I have been driven mad by my longing for you.”
He moved his mouth to my other breast, taking its nipple between his teeth. Little shards of blissful pain radiated through me as he bit the nub of flesh, and I gasped, digging my nails into his butt.
He sucked hard, soft. Laving my flesh with his tongue, he branded it with his teeth. I writhed beneath him, feeling his cock grow thicker, longer inside my sex. The wild sensation made me whimper, and I pulled him harder into my cunt, slipping one hand between our bodies until I could cup his balls.
They were heavy and swollen, and when I gave them a soft tug Torr ground out a raw moan. “Oh, fuck, Rai’nia.” He tortured my breast with his mouth, his thrusting penetrations growing faster. “It was never like this. Never so…”
