Luke Klaus has a problem. Christmas will be canceled if he can't get Destiny, Texas, back on the Holiday Cheer Map. A Christmas wish is all that stands between him and a perfect record. His target is packed with killer curves and a heart of gold that's been broken one too many times. Lucky for Luke, mixing a little business with pleasure might be just what the holiday doctor ordered.
Noella Davis is tired. Too many years as Destiny's cheer coordinator has left her drained and disillusioned. Is it a coincidence that brings her face-to-face with her old crush, or does the man in black leather have his own agenda? Either way, she'll have her cake and eat it too even if she has to tie him to the bed. Maybe her Christmas wishes will come true...
This really is a case for The Other Klaus.

No woman should look so sexy in a Santa hat and knee-high boots. He imagined the festive stockings she wore ended in whimsical lace at her thighs, with little ribbons tied to a garter belt. No panties. He was definitely imagining no panties. Too bad the black skirt was a bit too demure to prove him right... or wrong. The forest green of her silk shirt shone brilliantly against pale skin and bright red hair. She was a tempting little Christmas gift just begging to be unwrapped.
Luke shook his head. This was no way to keep his mind on work.
She stalked back and forth across her living room, her whiskey voice low and full of fury. Luke almost felt sorry for whoever was on the other end of the phone. He shouldn't have found it hot, but there were very few things about Noella Davis that didn't get him going one way or the other. Countless nights he'd imagined that sexy voice whispering lustful little suggestions, begging for what he could give her.
He sighed, and adjusted his jeans to make room for his hardening cock.
"I do not need more excitement in my life." She huffed out a breath in irritation. "Fine. No. It won't happen. Don't expect me there." She mashed the screen of her cell with both thumbs until it vibrated in her hands. Another caller. Already. Noella looked up. Fierce rage and hurt reflected in the depths of her expressive brown eyes. "Touch screens just don't provide the same satisfaction that a real button or regular phone does."
Luke grinned. "You could always throw it across the room."
"It's damn tempting."
Luke walked away from the door, letting it shut gently behind him. He leaned against the archway support leading into her living room. "You must be really popular."
Noella threw the phone onto the couch and shoved a pillow on top of it. "Or really pissed off."
"The family?" He held out his hands and Noella grabbed them, allowing him to pull her into a friendly hug. Too bad his mind was thinking past friendship to the press of her soft body against his.
Noella sighed, and Luke bit back a groan. Her curvy little body was sending his into a riot of lust. "Why don't you just turn off your phone?"
"Muffling it is far more satisfying." She pulled back from the hug, and a spark of mischief replaced her fury. "I can pretend I'm suffocating my brother that way."
"Good call. Though that would be hard to do with him halfway across the world."
She laughed. "It was good to talk to him. I miss him a lot." Her lashes lowered becomingly, and a lovely blush dusted her cheeks.
He wondered, fleetingly, if she tasted as good as she looked. She brushed her cheek against his shirt-covered chest. Did she hear his heart thundering? Sexual tension crackled between them.
"Luke?" Her fingers trailed beneath his leather jacket.
"Noella." He settled his hands on her shoulders. Her pulse fluttered against his thumbs.
"I was thinking..." The minx scraped her nails down his back in light whorls of incredible sensation.
Who the hell could think at a time like this? Luke cupped her face, tilting her chin so he could see her eyes. "Am I the cure for your lack of excitement?"
Self-doubt slid over her expression, and Luke didn't let her go when she tried to move away. He dipped his head to press a light kiss on her nose. "I need to know where I stand, snowflake." Her nose wrinkled at the childhood nickname.
"What do you mean?" Her arms still wrapped around him, but her fingers had stopped their delicious exploration.
"I mean..." Luke dipped his head and did what he'd dreamed of for so long. He kissed her.
