Given how hot it is here in Australia at Christmas time, most Australians don't celebrate Christmas with the traditional baked ham dinner. Instead, we have a groaning table of cold cuts and salads, prawns and fancy desserts.
Here’s an easy dessert that doesn’t require cooking and taste scrumptious. Perfect for any time of year. Even the children can make this one, but I wouldn’t advise it. CHOCOLATE CHIP LOG
Ingredients:
1 packet of chocolate chip cookies
½ cup of good sweet sherry
1 can of whipped cream
2 tablespoons of chocolate chips or grated dark chocolate, and glacé cherries or strawberries to decorate
Directions:
Pour the sherry into a bowl. Hmm, maybe a little more than half a cup, just for tasting. Or better yet, pour an equal amount into a separate bowl. Directions:
