Chris bounced in his seat, not sure where to turn and look. He didn't want to miss a thing. He couldn't believe they were in Edinburgh of all places. He'd only ever been inside North America before, so this was something extraordinary -- especially since he got to share it with his mates.
Theo was currently leaning forward, engaged in a heated discussion with their cab driver about hockey. The cabbie kept calling it ice hockey, which made Chris smile every time he heard it. They'd already covered rugby and football -- both the American and soccer versions -- and Chris gave a fleeting thought to what sport Theo and the driver would talk about next.
He couldn't get enough of the accent. He almost wanted to just sit back and listen. Which, come to think of it, was kind of what he was doing right now. Robin had already put his earphones in and was snoozing on the other side of Chris, so it wasn't as if he could talk to him.
Chris figured he should get a medal for not elbowing Rob awake. He was cutting him some slack considering Rob had barely slept on the plane. Chris, on the other hand, had put his head down on Theo's shoulder about two seconds into the flight, and about five seconds after that he'd been down for the count.
He'd never had any problems sleeping on a plane. Rob was the one who always had an issue with that. It was like his mind wouldn't shut off if he was in an airplane. Good thing they had their own TV screens, so Rob could watch as many movies as he wanted.
Chris wasn't sure what Theo had done, but he hadn't moved much. At least, he hadn't woken Chris up.
Turning in his direction, Chris studied the big man. He towered over both Chris and Rob at six and a half feet. His Inuvialuit features set him apart from the majority of people they'd seen in their journeys so far, and it was something Chris loved to study.
Theo was a beautiful man. He'd garnered his share of attention as they'd walked through the Frankfurt airport, and Chris figured it was because of how noble and striking he looked.
At least, that was what Chris thought when he saw him, so he just assumed everyone else felt the same way. He didn't mind showing off his mates. He was definitely a lucky man to be graced with both Theo and Rob. They seemed to find him attractive in return, so it was all good.
Even better, he realized they were soon going to be at their hotel room. He couldn't wait to get his mates alone in a room. It was difficult sometimes, being out in public with two men. He'd always been aware of it when it was just Rob and him, but it was worse now since he had to watch himself even more. He had a deep-seated need to touch his men. This need grew stronger the longer he was apart from them. He wanted to touch, needed to stroke their skin and press his lips against theirs. Only, he realized he couldn't.
He couldn't even do it with just one of them, because that wasn't fair to the other. Some of the places they were visiting might not be as openly friendly, and he honestly didn't know what to expect. Sure, there were Pride events in Oslo, but that didn't mean much more than that there was a gay community.
Plus, they were going to be stuck on a ship with a hundred people for fifteen days before they arrived in Oslo.
This night in Edinburgh was going to be special. A night where he could just lie down with the two men he loved more than anything in the world and touch as much as he wanted.
"All right, I'm going to have to let you off here since this is a one-way street. Just go down the block there, and the hotel is on the right. Hope you enjoy your stay."
Chris elbowed Rob awake. Rob glared at him in return.
"Come on. I can't wait to explore. Look at these buildings and that castle!" Rob craned his neck to look out the window. "Pretty spectacular. We want to drop our stuff and walk around now?"
Chris bit his lip. "Or maybe a quick 'nap' first?"
"I don't know. I'm kind of hungry," Rob answered.
He refrained from rolling his eyes. He wasn't sure if Rob was just tired, but that had gone entirely over his head.
Getting out of the cab, he let Theo take care of paying the driver since they were supposed to be taking turns. So far, only Theo had had a turn, but Chris figured at some point they would just tie him down so he couldn't reach for his wallet first. In the meantime, it made Theo feel better to pay so Chris was letting him get away with it.
Plus, it was kind of a test to see whether Rob would explode first.
"So, what should we do?" Theo asked, as they pulled their suitcases up the street.
Chris hummed. "Whatever you guys want to do is fine with me."
"I need a shower. And a nap. And sex. Lots of sex." Rob turned to grin wickedly at them.
"Great minds and all that. I was just thinking the same thing," Chris said.
Theo nodded. "Let me check us in since it's in my name, and you two can wait in the lobby for me."
"Did you get one room?" He wasn't sure they'd let you do that with three adults. Weren't the rooms supposed to be smaller over here?
"Booked a king bed. Figured you two could squish together. It's going to be roomy compared to when we get on the ship and our twin beds."
"Whoa. Hold on." Rob stopped dead. "Twin beds? As in separate beds?"
Chris rolled his eyes. "You didn't do more than glance at the itinerary, did you? I even gave it to you to read on the plane."
"I read the parts about where we're going, not where we're staying. I totally did not sign up for twin beds. Do you know when the last time I slept alone was?"
"That time when I went to Saskatoon for work, and you had to stay in Calgary to work on a different project. You bitched and complained so much they swore they wouldn't separate us overnight again."
Rob threw up his hands. "Exactly! That was years ago. Years!"
"You'll live." Chris realized Theo had kept on walking, so he tried to get Rob started walking again.
His frustrating mate wouldn't budge an inch. "Humph."
Trying to hide his smile, Chris tilted his head. "Okay. I'll make it up to you, then. Deal?"
Rob shrugged. "What sort of making it up?"
"Whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?"
"Promise."
"That's a pretty open offer."
"I trust you. Besides, Theo will protect me." Chris let out a peal of laughter when Rob mock-swiped at him.

"They're gonna be super pissed," Malcolm observed, shrugging off the glare she sent him.
"Well, what the hell do you expect me to do, Colly?" she called him by his nickname. "I couldn't stay there and go through a repeat of this morning. They're gonna want to know what's wrong with me."
She shook her head, sliding off the picnic table to pace in front of it. A flash of blue and red caught her eye, the swing set beckoning her. Whispered promises of another time in her life, one where she wasn't afraid. Back when she didn't know anything about the monsters in the night. Back before she became one of them.
She could hear the sounds of children, screaming and laughing, flitting through her mind. The glorious, clean smell of summer. The exhilarating rush of running around the slide, desperate to be the next one to go down its heated metal length, wincing when it burned sensitive thighs under colorful shorts.
They would fight over who got to sit on the yellow, laughing duck. His orange beak a bright splash of color, a counterpoint to Mr. Frog with his red mouth on the other end of the teeter-totter. She and Malcolm had spent years here, always the same.
She sat down in one of the swings, the strip of blue rubber conforming to her hips. Pushing off with her feet, she swung back and forth slowly. "When did it change, Colly? When did it become so faded, so rusty?" she asked, contemplatively.
Malcolm shrugged, flicking his gaze around the playground.
"The paint is peeling on the metal. The fence is five different colors from continuously having to paint over the graffiti. Was it always like this and we just didn't notice it?" she mused, kicking her feet up. Looking back at Malcolm, she saw him watching her, studying her.
"Things change, Mel." He met her eyes. "What are you gonna tell them?"
Now it was her turn to shrug.
"You have to tell them something," he said, a hint of impatience in his voice.
Cocking her head, she listened to the sounds of the night. The squeak of the chains as she pushed back and forth on the swing, the rustling of the trees, the slow inhale and exhale coming from her brother. "I can't tell them the truth."
"Why not?" he asked with a huff. Standing up, Malcolm placed both hands on his hips, glowering at her.
"Seriously? You seriously have to ask me that? Uh, maybe because I'm a fucking vampire and I can't even do the whole vamp thing normally."
"They're gonna find out one way or another. It might be better if you just tell them. I mean, c'mon! You can't be the only person to ever have this problem. It's not like it isn't treatable and --" Mel threw out her hand, startling her brother and cutting off his next words. She froze, breathing erratically. Ten seconds went by, incredibly slow.
"Well? Aren't you going to finish your sentence, Malcolm? Pray tell, what exactly could Melaina have that is treatable?" Tristan growled, his normally calm voice ragged. His accent roughened, becoming more noticeable.
They appeared out of the night, separating from the shadows that had kept them hidden from view. Tristan glided forward, followed by the dark, stalking figure of Dougal.
The two men separated, surrounding her.
Dougal slid up behind her, grabbing the metal chains of the swing in his large hands, halting her movement when she tried to get up. Tristan blocked her front, staring down at her fiercely.
Crap, it wasn't supposed to be like this. She hadn't had enough time to come up with an excuse. Stalling for time, she remained silent.
"Uh, guys..." Malcolm said, trailing off when Tristan threw him a smoldering glare.
"Leave us," Dougal snarled.
"Yeah, I'll just be going then. Right... I'll just be..." Malcolm ignored her pleading eyes. Turning swiftly, he walked out of the park, leaving her with the two vampires.
"Now, we can do this the hard way, or we can do it the easy way. But when we walk out of this park, we are going to know what is wrong with you. Is that clear?" Dougal whispered, caressing the shell of her ear with his breath.

"I can't take another night like that."
Robin looked up from where he'd been bent over the kitchen table -- looking at the newspaper, not bent over for any other reason... Woe was him.
"Suck it up. It has to get better."
"Get better? How could this possibly get better? 3:30, Rob. I was still up at 3:30, listening to that yowling from outside. I swear I can't take another night of this."
Chris paced back and forth in their tiny kitchen. It wasn't as if he had all that much room to move around in, but his lanky form made the journey more than interesting for Rob.
The younger man was just plain pretty. No bones about it. Curly brown hair -- in a permanent state of bed head -- framed an elfin face with large hazel eyes currently hidden by green metal frames. He was dressed in nothing but thin black boxer briefs. Yes, it was Rob's lucky day. Or days, since Chris always dressed like this in the morning.
Rob himself was kitted out in blue pin-striped pajama pants and fuzzy slippers. Not quite as erotic as Chris' breakfast dress, but Chris seemed to like it.
Rob had always gotten off on the preppy intellectual look, and Chris just plain did it for him. Of course, that didn't explain his fascination with Teddy, their other mate. He was about as far from preppy as it was possible to be. Fucking hot was what Teddy was. Rob sighed in longing.
Finally stopping in one place to hop up onto the counter, Chris pouted. "I'm tired, and I don't want to go to work today."
"I don't know why I didn't hear the cat." Rob scratched his chest. "You should have woken me up. I would have dealt with it."
Chris scoffed. "Right. What would you have done?"
Hey, Rob almost took offense at that. He grinned cheekily. "I would have put it in a closet and told it to shut its little cat mouth."
Chris started to giggle, exactly the reaction Rob had been going for. He downed the last of his coffee and set the mug in the sink beside where Chris was perched.
Rob leaned over the other man, bracketing Chris' hips with both hands. Chris spread his thighs so Rob could settle in between them.
"So when did Theo say he was coming back?" Rob asked.
"Four." Chris held up his fingers to demonstrate.
Rob frowned before starting to snicker.
Chris glanced down and grimaced. "Yes, I'm aware I'm holding up three fingers."
"Okay, just wanted to check." Rob lifted a hand to brush Chris' hair behind his ear.
Nuzzling into the gesture, Chris let out a mewl of pleasure.
His little mate was adorable. Now, if only their big mate would get home, things would be perfect..http://changelingpress.com/product.php?&upt=book&ubid=1598

The smell of cinnamon and gingerbread filled the room. Okay, fine, it wasn't cinnamon or gingerbread, but it was close enough. Heck, it wasn't as if the men knew what it was supposed to smell like anyway. She'd slaved all day making bread, and she just hoped it was edible. Rowan was desperate to make gingerbread houses, and she'd had to beg Ariel for help in creating the right consistency for the dough. Ariel had given her the strangest look, and Rowan just knew she was thinking the little human was insane, but she hadn't said anything. Ariel was probably humoring her, but it really didn't matter. The gingerbread houses had been made, and were now gracing the small table where they normally ate. Lopsided and green -- and not exactly the right shape either -- the houses were just perfect.
Snorting softly, Rowan rocked back and forth in front of the small tree. It wasn't exactly the evergreen tree she was used to, but she'd had fun guiding her men into picking just the right one. They'd spent almost two hours outside among the vegetation surrounding their home, with her first discarding one tree and then another before she was content. It listed to one side, haphazardly pulled up by the string connecting it to the wall. Hell, at least it was green.
"Definitely looks like a Charlie Brown tree, but I like it."
"I'm glad to hear that, Nawra. It took us forever to pick it out."
Strong arms enfolded her from behind, tawny fur brushed against her stomach. Rowan leaned back gratefully, lifting one hand to pet along the muscular forearm.
Giggling, she tilted her head to look up at his beloved features. "It wasn't that bad, Laithe. You know you liked it."
He nuzzled her neck, tickling her with the chocolate brown mane that caressed the tops of her shoulders. "Mmmm, I liked the payment after much better."
"I bet you did, perv boy."
Thrusting his hips against her backside, Laithe let her know exactly how much he'd like a repeat performance. Geez, her men were insatiable sometimes.
"Where's Fahd?" she asked, settling more of her weight against Laithe, letting him support her body from behind. It was one thing she loved about them, they were both so damn strong she never had to worry about her weight around them. She wasn't exactly a delicate flower, no matter what Laithe nicknamed her. Heck, she could probably gain fifty more pounds and they wouldn't complain about it. A mental image of herself waddling around the abode, like a pudgy dough boy, caused her to giggle again.
"I'm glad you are so happy, Nawra. Fahd and I were worried about you."
Rowan turned in Laithe's arms, frowning up at him. "What're you talking about?"
His face was troubled, his brow furrowed as he studied her just as intently as she was studying him.
"We were worried you didn't want to go to Earth. When Aaron said he was going back, you didn't say anything. When we asked you if you wanted to accompany him, you refused to leave. We were worried. I wasn't sure why you refused to go back."
Smiling up at her fierce warrior -- looking so worried -- Rowan smoothed her palm along his furred cheek. "Laithe, I didn't want to go back because there's no reason for me to go. My life isn't there anymore. It's here with the two of you."

"13C is right up here, sir. Enjoy the flight."

Theo frowned, glancing to the left and the seats facing each other. What the... He'd never been on a plane like this before. It looked like the first twelve rows faced front like normal, but seats 13 A and C were arranged at the front of the plane, facing backward. It reminded him of the setup on a city train.

"Where's the rest of row 13?" he asked.

"At the back, sir. They had to reconfigure the plane because of the washrooms. Half the planes have the washroom at the front and normal seating, but the rest have the washroom at the back which means you get to sit up here instead."

Hmm. Well, could be worse. At least it looked like he'd have more leg room this way. He just hoped whoever was in 1F didn't have long legs.

Slumping into his seat, Theo closed his eyes.

"Shit, don't push!"

"Sorry, it's cold out."

"I know it's cold out. I was just out there with you."

"Okay, seriously. Attitude."

"Oh, here we are. Row one."

Theo cracked open his lids and ended up staring right at the most delectable ass he'd ever seen. A growl slipped out of his throat before he could stop it.

"Oh, hello there." Mr. Nice Ass turned around and presented Theo with an even better view.

Theo grunted. He barely stopped himself from licking his lips, but his mother had tried to instill civilized behavior into him. Some of it must have stuck. He finally dragged his gaze away from the denim package he was eyeing to glance up at the face that went with it.

Huh, that was just as nice.

Mr. Nice Ass was short and compact. His skin was pale, and a shock of curly brown hair capped his head. Hazel eyes gazed down at him from an Elfin face. Thin green metal frames completed the scruffy, innocent intellectual look and nearly made Theo growl again. Besides the jeans, he was kitted out in a thick brown and white sweater. That was definitely a Cowichan design, if he wasn't mistaken. A real one, not the knockoffs he saw everywhere. His aunt had started to make them for his family when she married in, so he recognized the Salish style.

"Looks like we're going to be travel partners today. I'm Chris, Christopher Walls. And you?"

"Are the most handsome thing I've seen in a while. Hi, I'm Rob, Robin McKenzie, at your service."

Glancing over at Robin, Theo had to prevent himself from licking his lips again. Damn. Robin was nice to look at. He appeared a few years older than Christopher, but the extra years had turned what was probably cute when he was younger into just fucking hot now. Theo most definitely liked.

Robin's hair was cropped closer to his head and lacked the corkscrews that Christopher had. Nutty brown eyes stared at him with more than enough heat to de-ice the plane alone. He was dressed in a pair of jeans and a creamy grey sweater. As Theo watched, Robin unwound a rainbow striped scarf from around his neck and stuck it into the small bag at his feet before glancing back up with a naughty grin.

"Theodore Kisoun," Theo replied.

"Ohh! Theodore. I like. Can I call you Teddy?" Robin practically bounced in place.

"Theo."

Full lips turned down into a pout. Theo had to firm his own lips to stop himself from smiling.

Christopher finally got himself settled into the seat across from Theo. Their feet brushed against each other, and Theo refused to move them. He wanted to see how the little man would react. If he wasn't mistaken, that was a definite blush covering the pale cheeks. Interesting.

"Where are you headed?" Robin asked, as he took his own seat beside Christopher.

"Inuvik."

"Really? Us too!" Both boys perked up at that. Theo had a quick thought that he shouldn't call them boys, even inside his head. They weren't young, looking closer to his own thirty-plus years, but there was something about their demeanor that reminded him of young cubs.

"I'm sorry if this is rude, but are you from Inuvik?" Christopher asked in a quiet voice.

"Not rude. I was born there. I'm Inuvialuit, in case you were wondering." They'd have to be stupid not to notice he was Native. It was also pretty natural to wonder if he was originally from the north since he was headed up there now.

"Are you going to visit your family, then? Or do you live there?" Christopher asked.

"No, I live in Calgary, just visiting my mom for her birthday. The entire family is going up so I'll be staying at the MacKenzie Delta to get away from all the noise." What was wrong with him? Why was he being so chatty? This wasn't normal for him, but he couldn't deny there was something about these two that made him want to blurt out his life story. There was something he wasn't quite catching. Maybe once the flight attendant closed the door he'd be able to get a better idea of what was staring him in the face.

"We're at the MacKenzie too. Fancy that." Robin grinned.

"Have you ever been up there?"

"Nope, it's our first time. We're both geologists, and we're going up to meet with our boss who's got us doing a job up there. Then we're coming back in a few days."

"Prepare to be cold."

"Ah, the cold weather doesn't bother us. It's in our blood. Besides, if I get chilly, I'll just crawl into bed with Chris."

Theo glanced over at Christopher in time to see the intriguing blush bloom across his face again. Hmm. He liked that. He also liked the thought of these two in bed together.

Theo pushed up the sleeves of his long tee and crossed his arms over his chest. Both Christopher and Robin instantly stared, mouths agape.

Even better.

Oh, yes. He was going to have fun with these two.

The human stood over him, his rank stench nearly enough to make Achan sick. He didn't know what they wanted to do to him, but he realized how desperate they were at this point. He was almost out of hope. He wanted so badly for his family to rescue him but he despaired that they would ever find him.
This was all his fault. He shouldn't have wandered off. What was going to happen to him? Why hadn't his brothers found him yet? Where were they?
He was lying on a bed, covered in tiny white flowers. He didn't know what they were but the very presence of them was making him crazy. He couldn't move because of the ropes holding him down, but every brush of air against his inflamed skin made him wish he could roll over and fuck anything he could find. What was wrong with him?
One of the humans -- Hunter -- crouched beside him, holding his own head against another brutal punch from his brother. Tears dripped from his eyes, the one swollen painfully. Blood coated his split lip and covered his chin.
Achan didn't understand it. Why would siblings ever treat each other with anything less than respect? Especially Hunter. He'd been so kind to Achan, even when he still thought he was an animal. Achan just needed to be careful, like Hunter told him. He couldn't give away that he wasn't exactly as animalistic as the rest of the humans assumed. Hunter had told him that the rest would treat him even worse if they realized he could talk and understand everything they were saying, but Achan didn't know how long he could stand this before he cracked.
His head was so fuzzy, he couldn't hold on to a single thought for more than a moment. He needed to get his senses back. It was going to become dangerous if he couldn't pay attention. He couldn't afford to mess something up.
Shouts sounded behind the closed doors, followed by a sharp, snapping sound that had Achan's heart pounding.
He knew that roar. Khalid. His brother was here. His brother was here to rescue him!
The door slammed open, a lithe figure throwing himself inside. Pran righted himself and snarled, baring his fangs, his snapping roar filling the room. Wait, what was Pran doing here? He shouldn't be here since he hadn't come to Earth with them. Was he dreaming?
"Stay away! I'll kill him! I swear it! Stay away!" The human grabbed a knife, holding it to Achan's throat.
Achan was too insensate to move, though he knew how dangerous this moment was. The human was crazy. But no, it had to be a dream. Pran wasn't here in real life so the knife didn't exist either. The Tigris was supposed to be back on Himalay. Even if he wasn't, there was no way Pran would be here as a rescue party. He hated Khalid and everyone related to him.
Pran waited, keeping his gaze on the knife. Achan tensed, unable to move more than a bare inch. His whole body felt weak.
"Zach, stop this now. Let him go! Just let him go," Hunter screamed.
It worked as a distraction. The human's attention switched for a brief moment, just enough time for Pran to move. He thrust forward, grasping the man's knife hand. They grappled briefly for the weapon but Pran prevailed. He grabbed it, twisted it, stabbed it into that soft belly and pulled up hard.
Death stared out from the human's gaze before he slumped to the ground with a gurgle. Achan whimpered.
Khalid was suddenly at his back, grabbing for Achan, releasing him from his bindings and pulling him into his arms.
His brother was here. It was going to be okay. Everything would be okay. Khalid would save him.

Shire horse shapeshifters Bayard and Marshall Stoddard have never been happier. They have a man they both love in safety consultant Oliver Philip, and the common enemy that brought the three together has finally left them alone. Or so they thought...

When Oliver travels to the mountains of Alberta to conduct a safety audit on a ski resort, he runs into a completely different animal than the twins he's in love with. The massive crows he spies upon his arrival aren't exactly human, and it seems they have a cautionary tale about a group of men who would destroy the Stoddards without a care. Oliver isn't sure what to believe, until he gets a phone call from Marsh telling him Bay has gone missing. Oliver must find the strength inside himself to fight for the two men he can't live without.

The sound of Oliver's cell phone ringing interrupted whatever Jack was about to say. Oliver quickly answered it, recognizing the ring. "Hello?"
"Hey, baby. You get in all right?"
"Bay! How did you know we were here already?" He smiled as he always did whenever he heard one of his men. He still had moments where he wondered what they were doing with him, but the twins were slowly convincing him he was worth their love. He had to pinch himself some days to prove he was awake and this was really happening.
They'd been together for well over half a year now, and they were more in love with each other every day. He had to stop himself before he started getting all mushy, but life was pretty danged good right now. He was almost afraid, actually. Things were nearly too good. His inner cynic was currently waiting for the other shoe to drop.
"Well, I could say that I'm just a genius and know everything..."
Oliver shook his head. "Yeah, but then I wouldn't believe you."
"How 'bout I know how long it takes to drive up through the mountains to Crowfoot?"
"That, I'll believe. How're things? You and Marsh ready to go out and work the ranch this morning?"
"We've been up and working for a few hours now, lazy bones."
"Hey! I'm not lazy. I've been driving for hours, stuck with Jack in a truck."
"How's he doing? He coming to the office Christmas party? I'd love to meet him in person."
Yeah, Oliver still wasn't sure what to do about the Christmas party. He had one every year for his staff and contractors, but this would be the first time he'd actually bring a date. By now all his employees knew he was gay and dating a man, but they didn't know he was actually dating two men. He was grateful they seemed not to have a problem with his sexual orientation, but still... It was one thing to be open minded and another thing entirely to be that open-minded. Oliver had already bitten the bullet and asked both Marsh and Bay to come to the party.
He was planning on introducing just one of the men as his boyfriend, but he wasn't sure what to do about the other. They'd had this conversation before, and both men claimed they understood why he couldn't openly date both of them, but it made Oliver's chest ache to virtually deny one of his men.
Turning back to the conversation at hand, Oliver wrinkled his nose. "I asked him, and I think he's going to make it." Glancing over at an openly eavesdropping Jack, he grinned. "Although, I may have to rescind the invite. He's being just a bit too forward."
Predictably, Jack placed a hand over his chest. "You wound me, Boss Man, wound me."
Oliver was pleased to note he didn't look any different than before. Oliver was still self-conscious about doing something with his men in front of other people. Gay marriage might be completely legal in Calgary and the pride scene alive and well, but there were still a few individuals who weren't exactly supportive.
Laughing, Oliver turned to the side, trying to make their conversation just a bit more private. "I miss you already."
"Really? I miss you, too. I'm standing here thinking about you. Getting hard, actually. Just hear the sound of your voice, and I want to do all sorts of naughty things with you. I can't wait to get my hands on you again, bend you over and ream your ass like I'm dying to right now." Bay growled, the sound making Oliver's nerve endings stand up and pay attention.
Oh, they couldn't do this now. Could they? Oliver risked a quick glance at Jack, seeing the man looking off to the side. Obviously trying to give him some privacy now, but Oliver still couldn't have this conversation in front of him.
"Give me a second here, Jack."
Jack twisted, waving a hand. "No problem. I just want to breathe in this air. Take your time. We're a bit early anyway."
Oliver crawled back into the truck, closing the door with a snap. "You're an evil, evil man, Bayard."
Soft laughter was his only answer.
"You can't say things like that and not expect me to retaliate after all." Oliver smiled despite himself, turning his back to where Jack was standing outside.
"Is that so?"
"Mmm. Did you know when you say things like that, I get the most insatiable urge to find a nice quiet place and play with myself? Run my fingers up and down my dick, cup my balls. Soft. Gentle. Just waiting for a firmer touch to come and show me what I need."
"Baby..."
"No, no, you started this." Oliver grinned. "Now I'm sitting here with a hard-on that's dying for more. I wonder if Jack would mind if I just sit in here for a while and think of you and Marshall while I jerk off."
"Shit, Ollie," Bay moaned.

Some days, Oliver Philip couldn't believe his luck. "What do you mean, they cancelled?"
Rosemary sighed, the sound loud through his earpiece. "I'm sorry, boss, but they said they didn't have enough documentation and didn't want to waste your time."
Shaking his head, Oliver stared out the front windshield of his car. He was currently pulled over to the side of the road, about ten kilometres outside of Buttfuck, Nowhere, and about three hours away from home. "Which is great, but they couldn't have let me know before this morning? I would have been at their site in another half hour. Damn it!"
He slammed his palm against the steering wheel, instantly regretting the move when a shaft of pain went up his forearm. Great. Just great.
"Sorry, boss."
"Yeah, I know. It's fine. I just hate when they pull this crap on me." He sighed. "Okay, well, looks like I'm turning around. I'm not going to bother coming into the office, Ro. See you tomorrow."
"Say hi to your hunky man, boss." Her warm chuckle came through loud and clear.
Hoping he wasn't blushing, although she couldn't see him anyway, Oliver quickly said goodbye, ignoring her laughter as he disconnected.
He hadn't entirely been honest with his employees about his love life. No wonder, considering he couldn't believe it himself. They all thought he'd been involved the past few months with a completely gorgeous long, tall, drink of water. Which was true... except he was also involved with the guy's brother -- his twin brother -- who both happened to turn into Shire horses.
Completely normal, right?
Things definitely hadn't been normal since he'd accepted the job to go out to Horsfall Ranch and build a safety program for them. He'd finished the safety program, and received a nice cheque in return, but he'd also managed to fall in love with the two owners of the ranch, Bayard and Marshall Stoddard.
Just saying their names was enough to have him in shivers.
His employees wouldn't even know about the change in his single status, except for the fact that Marsh had once come into the office, and it had apparently been very clear that Oliver and him had something going on. The truth was they hadn't been involved at the time, but the connection had certainly been there.
Who fell in love with two men? Apparently he did, but it had taken all three of them to realize there was nothing wrong with it.
He wouldn't change anything about his relationship with the men. Well, except for the fact that he still needed to hide the fact that he was with both of them. Society kind of frowned on that. He didn't even want to think about what would happen if some of his more conservative clients found out.
Speaking of clients... here he was, with a cancelled audit and a full day ahead of him. Picking up his phone, he quickly dialed a very familiar number, listening to the faint ringing on the other end.
"Horsfall Ranch." The voice was deep, reverberating through the phone line.
Oliver let out a little moan.
"That you, baby?" If possible, the voice got deeper.
He laughed. "What if it had been someone else?"
Marshall chuckled. "I know your moan. I heard it this morning, remember?"
"Want to hear it again in, oh, about three hours? Give or take."
"What happened?"
"Client cancelled."
"But you're already out there, aren't you?"
"Hey, it happens. I'm turning around now, though, so I decided to play hooky for the rest of the day."
"Well, that's just about perfect. I think I can convince my boss to let me have the day off too."
"And Bay?" Not that he didn't mind doing things with one or the other, but it had been a few days at least since their last double date. Okay, so he was a bit of a manwhore who wanted to be fucked by both his men. Sue him.
"I'll see what I can do, baby. Drive safe."
"I will. See you soon."
Oliver hung up, smiling at the thought of seeing his men again.

Blurb:

Their past haunts them, their future together remains tantalizingly out of reach…
Once upon a time, Khalid Steinsson and Pran Devan were deeply in love. They were planning their future and planning a commitment ceremony to each other. The unthinkable happened and the two were torn apart. Both men have changed. Pran carries his fiery anger as a shield against everything around him. Khalid carries his pain hidden underneath layers of icy cool restraint. It will take something monumental to either bring them back together, or tear them apart forever.

“Get out of my way, you half-breed bastard.” Pran’s words were harsh, almost indistinguishable because of the throaty growl that accompanied them.
Khalid rumbled, just barely resisting throwing Pran up against the wall. He didn’t have time for this. Baring his fangs, he watched Pran stomp away from him, itching to go after him and teach him some control.
It was almost laughable. Every time he was close to the Tigris man, his control was lost entirely. He felt like a cub again, unsure, his emotions running freely. It was all he could do to hide himself away until he was back to normal. He’d never thought he’d be placed in this position again.
For the past fifteen years Khalid had gained a reputation for being cold and calculating. Shrewd. He didn’t let his emotions control him. He could always be counted on to provide a level head, to look at things in a way that others missed.
He wondered sometimes if he would have ended up the same had he stayed on Himalay instead of moving off planet. Who would he be now? It didn’t matter, though, so there was no point dwelling on the idea. He was who he was. He would not change that because some Tigris was bent out of shape.
He still didn’t understand what Pran was doing here anyway. Fifteen years ago, they had parted in a way guaranteed to harbor resentments.
“Khalid?”
Khalid turned to the left, spying the lithe figure of his sister. Rabi’a lifted her hand, brushing back her thick chin-length hair. The strands parted briefly, the striped locks shining in the ship’s light.
“Attika.”
“Will you be all right?”
He sighed, propping his shoulder against the wall of the narrow corridor.
“Talk to me, Binnodara. Let me help you.” Rabi’a walked closer, her brown and beige tail curling to wrap around his wrist.
Khalid dredged up a smile for her, thumping his own tail along the wall. Inhaling, he let his breath out in a shuddering sigh.
“Is this about going home?” His sister’s voice lowered, her concern evident.
“No.” His ears twitched. “Maybe.”
“Khalid.”
“I don’t know what to do. So much has changed in the past few months. I don’t know what I want anymore.”
“Okay. Are you no longer happy with your brother’s pride?”
Khalid considered her question. “I don’t know where I belong anymore,” he breathed. It wasn’t anyone else’s fault. It just was.
She nodded in understanding. “The past fifteen years have seen you becoming one with your Leo family, first under your father and then Durai. This is good, is it not?”
For many years now he had been a member of his brother’s pride, following and protecting Durai as he traveled amongst the stars, learning as much as possible about the other planets and people in the universe. He loved his life. He had always felt welcomed by his Leo brothers and sister. So why was he full of unrest now? Was it just because of the presence of Pran?
“I love Durai. I always will. He is my Binnodara, just as Jai is.”
Rabi’a nodded. “It cannot be easy balancing two such different families.”
“Do you think I neglected you and Jai?” He had never considered it before, but seeing his younger brother on Earth had made him come to some realizations lately. He had left everything behind on Himalay, including his sister and brother. He barely contacted his mother and the man who had raised him as his son.
He rubbed his wrist, feeling the scars that lay there, a constant reminder of who he now was. And who he wasn’t.
